German Pancake & Sausage with Powdered Sugar

My sister made one of these years ago while we were both still living at home with our parents.  I set out on a mission after I left home to try to make one as good as the ones she made when we were kids.

This is only the second time that I've made a German Pancake!! It was so easy to make, which is what attracted me to this recipe.  I didn't have to run to the store for any of the ingredients!!

I put the sausage on top for the pic. ;-))

NOTE:  I didn't make the syrup in the recipe, I just used syrup that I had.

German Pancake

This was the first time that I tried to make a German Pancake.  It actually came out really good!! I wish I could say it was one of my recipes, however, it's not.  I got it off the internet and just followed the steps.

I think I could have eaten the whole thing by myself, that makes it a problem...my problem!  Think of it as not quite a pancake and not quite a crepe, but somewhere in the middle of that.  If you haven't tried to make one, give it a shot.  It was really easy to make, and very tasty to eat!!
