Japanese Fruit Candy - Japantown

If you are ever in Japantown in SF aka The City, do yourself a favor and look for these little gems.

The taste is so spot on with what our brains tell us fruit would taste like if it were candy.  These are sooooooooooo, very tasty.

Don't take my word for it, try them for yourself!! :-) Your mouth will be very happy!!

Red Snapper Ceviche - Made by Ty

If you've never had ceviche, you are missing a treat!! My daughter made this one, and we almost lost our minds eating it!! lol

It gives the fish a delicate, melt in your mouth texture!

What???? You've never had ceviche!! You MUST either find a recipe to make it yourself or go to a restaurant that serves it.  It is the most wonderful thing.

I apologize for the "fuzzy" pic, but sometimes I think I'm a way better photographer than I am.  I'm kind of hit and miss!! ;-)

Dessert Time - Luna Ristorante

So while I'm on desserts, I figured I might as well share this pic too!!  A very, very tasty dessert!!!  I just realized that the cream on the side looks like a Panda bear face!!  Okay, maybe I'm just looking at it with more of an artistic eye than I should....but it does kind of, right??

Delicious Dessert - Grissini's

I was at a fancy restaurant called Grissini's inside the Hilton when I ate this one!  Yes, I ate the WHOLE thing.  Didn't feel an ounce of guilt until it was all gone, then I thought...hmmm, maybe I should have only eaten a couple of spoonfuls!

It didn't really matter, it was every bit as tasty as this pic looks.  Very decadent, very rich and very creamy!!

Drinks - Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

There are two tasty drinks shown in the pic below, but I only remember the name of one of them and that's the Mojito on the left.  The drink on the right was new on the menu, and whatever the name was, all I remember is that it sounded good, and tasted even better.

It wasn't a strong mixed drink, it was very mild and delicious!! The waiter had a bit of fun with us by telling us if we could guess the answers to questions from the movie Forrest Gump, we would get a something free.

We fell for it hook, line and sinker!! After answering all his questions right, he said "you get free napkins, free water etc." All we could do is laugh!!

Pink Lemonade - Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

Here is a pic of a very delicious lemonade that my daughter had at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.  She got to keep the fancy light flashing glass it came in too! I tried to capture the flashing lights around the bottom of the glass, but failed miserably. :-)

I didn't bother to ask the price of the drink, but I'm sure it was more than the norm because of the glass. It was worth it to see her smiling about it!!
