Young Coconut

I've never bought one of these before, though I always wanted to! I went online to see how to open it, and thought for sure I knew what I was doing!

I had the idea, and the people on YouTube made it look really simple, which it would have been (I guess), IF I had the right tools.

They said you should use a heavy knife, well....that's the first place I went wrong.  My knives aren't heavy enough!!

After hacking at it a bit, I finally got it open.  I really wanted to have that nice pretty little round lid to pop up!!! ;-)

Long story short, the coconut meat was nice and tender and it was FULL of coconut water, which was delicious!!!

I should tell you that I'm not a big coconut fan, at least not the chewy kind! I found out that I actually LOVE the tender version!!

Frozen Yogurt - Tuttmelon

I was sitting at the house and craving something sweet.  I wanted something light, so me and the girls headed out to Tuttimelon for yogurt!

I got the pineapple yogurt and topped it with kiwi fruit, peaches, strawberries and a cherry!

The pineapple yogurt almost reminded me of the frozen yogurt we got at Dole when I was in Hawaii.  Sooooooooooooo good, but it was almost too much to eat!  :-)

Chocolate Brownie - Nugget Market

If you love rich, smooth chocolaty brownies, this is the treat for you!!  My sister brought this brownie to my house the other day, and just one look told me what to expect.

This brownie was super moist, decadent and completely forbidden to anyone on a diet!! No need to ask how many calories in this one.  If your asking, don't bother to buy it or eat it. ;-))

This was one for the books!! It was so large, that I split it with my son and their was still some left.  I literally cut it in four pieces, and each piece was large!!

DE-licious!!!! 

Homemade Caramel with Apple

Here is what I decided to do with my caramel!  I'll call it the adult version of the caramel apple that we all had as kids at the local fair!!

Man, was this goooooooooooooood!

My sisters just showed up at my house, and I let them taste it.  Not only did they love it, they were in disbelief that all I did was put the can in the slow cooker!!

You guys should try it! I promise you won't be disappointed!!! :-))

Chocolate Covered Strawberry - Shari's Berries

Strawberries are the BEST!!! They are even better when covered in delicious chocolate.  Shari's Berries has some of the best, freshest tasting strawberries that they cover in their wonderful chocolate.

I've had other chocolate covered strawberries, but none come close to these. They are HUGE, juicy and sweet, even without the chocolate on them.  The good thing is that you can even order them on line.

Cupcakes - Whole Foods

Here is my sweet treat pic of the day!! I saw these beauties at Whole Foods.  

Chocolate and vanilla cupcakes!!  They did an awesome job with the decoration, so I took a quick pic before they convinced me to buy them! haha ;-))
