Pigs in a Blanket - Made by George

This delicious looking dish was made by George.  This looks SO tasty!! I'm getting hungrier with each post!!!

Thank you for sharing this awesome pic George!!!

Philly Cheese Steak - Made by Michael

Oh man, oh man!!!  Just look at that tasty Philly Cheese Steak sandwich made by Michael!!

At times like this, I wish I were tasting and not just posting.  Michael and Leomar are AWESOME cooks, and I'm glad they are willing to share their creations with me!!

Looks Yummy Michael!!

Cream Cheese Leche Flan - Made by Leomar

I know what I wish I were doing right now...eating a piece of that delicious looking flan in the pic below, which was made by Leomar!

This flan looks creamy, smooth and awesomely delicious!!

Way to go Leomar!!!

Shrimp Fries - Adalbertos

No doubt this is not the first time, and probably won't be the last time that I've posted these shrimp fries from Adalbertos!!

I can't help myself!! lol  These are the best shrimp fries around, at least where I live.  They are SO good!! The shrimp are sauteed to perfection, which adds to the wonderful delicious layers of this dish!!

Just look at this pic!!!  Mouthwatering huh??  Yeah, I agree!!!

Avocado Rolls - Yo Sushi

Another first for me!! I had never heard of an avocado roll, but here they are!! I like anything avocado, so I was willing to give them a try.

These rolls are SO good, you wouldn't think something as simple as avocado could transform an egg roll into something truly special.

Loved these!!!

North Texas Roll - Yo Sushi

This sushi roll is from Yo Sushi, and it is called the North Texas roll.  This roll has soft shell crab, avocado, cucumber, Unagi, and Unagi sauce.

This sushi roll is SO tasty, I'm glad I chose this one. I don't think my pic does it justice, so you'll have to trust me that it was REALLY good!!!

Pan Seared Cajun Tilapia - Diamond Cafe

This is the best dish that I have purchased at Diamond Cafe this year, last year, or any year for that matter.

The pan seared Cajun tilapia was SO yummy, just like it looks in the pic. It was served with herb creamy polenta, and seasoned veggies.  Yummy goodness!!!!

Sauteed Bockwurst

This is something simple that I do with bockwurst, which is one of my favorite type of sausage!! I slice them evenly, then sautee them in a little butter and olive oil.

Bockwurst don't need much, because they are delicious by themselves.  I never use heavy sauces with them, because I want to taste the delicate flavor.

Soooooo yummy!!! :-)

Bailey's Irish Cream & Coffee

I haven't purchased Bailey's Irish Cream in YEARS!! I decided to buy some recently, and it didn't disappoint!!

Bailey's is one of the best Irish Creams around, and it is good by itself or mixed with something, like in this case.

Very smooth!

Chicken Sorrento - Olive Garden

This dish right here was to die for!!!! This is Olive Garden's Chicken Sorrento. This dish was bursting with so much flavor, I don't even know where to begin in the description!!

This is on their lighter side menu, but you wouldn't know it when you eat it!! I will say this, everything worked really well together...the tender chicken, the sauce, the grilled lemon, and the tender veggies.

I almost wanted to order another plate to go, but I didn't want to be greedy!! haha

YUMMYLICIOUS!!!

Tri-Colored Veggie Penne - Olive Garden

In the pic below is Olive Garden's Tri-Colored Veggie Penne pasta! It is not only a very gorgeous looking dish, but just as tasty!!

If you've read my last couple of posts, you might have already guessed that this was the dish my daughter selected, and if so, you also know that I tasted it as well!! lol

A very well done penne!!!

House Salad - Olive Garden

This is a pic of Olive Garden's delicious house salad!! This salad is worth eating by itself, or with bread sticks!!

I can't pretend to know how they can make such a tasty salad, but whatever they do, it works!!! :-)

DELICIOUSNESS!!!

Wine & Bread - Olive Garden

The waitress offered us some house rosé wine.  The little taste that we had was very good, so we decided to get a couple of glasses of it...sorry, I don't remember the name of the wine.

If you've ever eaten at Olive Garden, I don't have to tell you how delicious their bread sicks are!!! I literally could just eat their bread sticks and house salad, but they have such tasty dishes on the menu, you just have to order something else! :-)

Artichoke Fritti - Olive Garden

When it comes to food, it's always good to step outside of your "box." Having said that, artichokes are not really outside of my normal range of eating.  I have a healthy love of artichokes.

The thing that makes this appetizer outside of the box for me, is that I have never eaten an Artichoke Fritti before.

It was a really good choice for an appetizer. They used the artichoke hearts, so every bite was tender and delicious!!

I would recommend this dish to anyone that loves artichokes!! So YUMMY!!!

Little Doggie - Sonic

You know how you have one of those times when you are hungry, but not very hungry?

Well it turns out that Sonic had the perfect answer for my dilemma! They have this cute little mini hot dog that they call a Little Doggie.

It has all the flavor of their full sized hot dogs but in a small package!! I loved this little doggie!! I'm glad they put this on their menu!! :-)

In the pic below is their Chili Cheese Little Doggie!

Strawberry Basket - The Old San Francisco Creamery

Now THIS dish, literally took the cake!!! I asked the waiter for something from their ice cream menu that would make a really pretty pic.  He immediately recommended the Strawberry Basket!!

I was a bit surprised by the size of it!! I don't know if you can tell from this pic, but it was HUGE!!!

I started on one side, and my daughter started on the other. Needless to say, we couldn't finish it, not even with two of us eating it!!

From the very first bite, it was delicious!! The ice cream at The Old San Francisco Creamery is THE best that I have tasted in a LONG time!! They don't fool around with their house made ice cream.  You can tell that they use all quality ingredients.  It was rich, smooth, creamy and delicious!!!

If you go there, you MUST try this dish!! OUTSTANDING!!!

Seafood Pasta - The Old San Francisco Creamery

I love, love, LOVE pasta!!! Maybe I love it too much, if that's possible!!  I found this tasty dish on the menu, and decided to give it a try.

It was a very good pasta dish, but I wasn't overly impressed with it.  I may or may not purchase it again.  Honestly, I thought I could have made the dish at home.  I don't know if that's saying much, because I think I am a very good cook. ;-)  My opinion of the dish may be because I wasn't that hungry when I went out to eat. I just knew I had to eat dinner!  I wouldn't discourage you from trying this dish if you live near The Old San Francisco Creamery.

I think you should absolutely give it a try. Your opinion will most likely be different from mine. :-)

Anyway, there was a good balance of bay scallops, shrimp and veggies in the pasta, and it had a very nice sauce.

Tofu Burger - The Old San Francisco Creamery

Since my daughter is eating vegetarian, she looks for things on the menu that will fit into her diet.  The Old San Francisco Creamery had the perfect dish for her.  This is their tofu burger with fries on the side!!

She knows the drill, with my being a food blogger, of course I had to taste it!! It was awesome!! It was very "meaty" for a burger that had no actual meat in it!!

A tofu burger done right!!! Kudos to the chef!!

Fried Green Beans - The Old San Francisco Crreamery

So, I've had fried green beans from various restaurants over the years, and these are pretty high up there on my "list."  They were seasoned just right, not to salty and not to bland.  They had a nice crunch on the outside and soft on the inside, just like I like them.

I would most definitely buy these again.  YUMMY!!!!

Ultimate Fries and Peach Lemonade - Charley's Grilled Subs

My daughter wanted some cheese fries really bad, so she bribed me into taking her to Charley's Grilled Subs to get some.

This was my first time going to Charley's, but not only does the bag say that they have THE best Philly Steaks on the planet, my daughter agrees!! The thing about that is, she's a REALLY picky eater, so that's quite the compliment coming from her!!

I got the ultimate fries, and the peach lemonade. Let me tell you...these fries were the BOMB!!! The lemonade was just as awesome!!!

I would definitely recommend them, so if you haven't tried Charley's yet, get to one as soon as possible.

I have to give a shout out to the OUTSTANDING sales associate that rang us up! I apologize to her for not getting her name, but if she reads this, she will KNOW why I'm shouting her out!!  She went over and above for us, and we appreciate it more than she could ever know!!!

So THANK YOU for being so kind, and going above and beyond the call of duty!!!

Bento Box -- Yo Sushi

California rolls, beef teriyaki, rice and oranges.  Such an awesome FRESH combo from Yo Sushi!!

Very good stuff!!! Just looking at this pic makes me want to go back there!!! :-)

Deluxe Crispy Rolls - Yo Sushi

The pic does not do these justice!!! These Deluxe Crispy rolls were so yummy!!! I love the rolls that Yo Sushi makes!! They prepare them fresh when you order, so you don't get that "been sitting around for a while" taste.

Nothing but freshness here!!! YUM!!!!

Green Tea Frappuccino - Starbucks

I saw this on someone else's IG account, and had to try one for myself! I went out and bought a "tall." Yes, this is a "tall!!"

I wasn't sure if I'd like it, so I didn't get a larger size.  After I tasted it, I really wished I had gotten a larger one!!

This is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO freaking good!!!! A MUST try!!!

Polska Kielbasa with Oven Roasted Potatoes

In this pic is some delicious sauteed Polska Kielbasa with BBQ sauce (Sweet Baby Ray's), which I paired with some diced roasted Yukon Gold potatoes.  I seasoned my potatoes with Lawry's Season salt, some red pepper flakes, garlic powder and onion powder.

This dish was missing one thing, veggies!! Okay, I didn't miss the veggies!! haha!!! The family loved this!!

Pig Wheels - Made by Janice

My sister made these lovely appetizers for game day.  I have to be honest with you on these, my sister didn't have a name for them.  We kept asking her what she called this appetizer, and she said "I don't know."

We decided to call them Pig Wheels, kind of like pigs in a blanket, except these aren't in a blanket...more like ON a blanket!!

Whatever you want to call them, they were very, VERY delicious!!!

Chocolate Monopoly Game

I soooooo didn't know that there was such a thing!! A chocolate Monopoly set...who knew???

We were supposed to play this game after the Super Bowl, but never got around to it.  Hmmm, I wonder what happened to the chocolate pieces!!

LOL!!

Nachos - Made by Jamila

These are the nachos that my niece Jamila made for our Super Bowl party!! Awesomely delicious!!!

She hooked us up!!! By the way, this was her plate.  I don't think mine looked as pretty as hers!! ;-)

Donuts - Krispy Kreme

DONUTS!!!! Who doesn't love donuts?? These were the donuts that my sister bought for our Super Bowl party.

Krispy Kreme's are the BOMB!! Love the fact that they tried to get creative and make mini footballs, and the XOXO's....CUTE!!!

Chicken & Mozzarella Ravioli

I bought some chicken & mozzarella ravioli from the store, then realized I didn't have a sauce for them, nor did I have anything to make a good sauce out of.

I looked in my fridge to see what I could come up with.  I had some baby bellas, so I sauteed them in olive oil & butter, then I put them on top of the cooked ravioli, added some salsa rojas on top of the bellas, then sprinkled some some Parmesan and olive oil to top it all off.

The fresh tomatoes on the side are for some added color...but I ate them too!! The olive oil that I used for this was my "trusty" orange flavored olive oil.  This worked out so well!!

Tacos Carnitas - Adalberto's

Yes!!! More tacos I say!!! Can't get enough of them.  I think I could eat tacos every single day of the week and never get tired of them!

Just look at these beautiful tacos from Adalberto's!!! YUMMY!!!

Crispy Bacon

The trick for me is crispy, not burnt!! I LOVE crispy bacon.  Here is a plate that I made along with the creamy grits!!

Love bacon like this, but I'm not against chewy bacon!! I love that too, IF the bacon is thick sliced.

Grits, Bacon and Omelette

I'm a country girl at heart, so I can't get away from my love of creamy, buttery grits!!

I just love them, but as I've said before, they have to be smooth and creamy. I added some crispy bacon, and an unconventional omelette!  Meaning, this omelette had left over meat from the tacos I made, mushrooms and cheese.

I was totally being lazy when I made the omelette, so I just threw my eggs in the same pan I sauteed the mushrooms in.  The end result was a very tasty, but not so pretty omelette!!

Avocado Deviled Eggs - Made by Ty

We have seen these deviled eggs over the years, and they've always looked interesting.  My daughter and I love avocados and deviled eggs, so we figured we would love these.

We were right!! These avocado deviled eggs are the BOMB!! Packed with flavor, they totally "kick up" the flavor of a deviled egg.

I'm glad we decided to give them a try!! YUMMY!!!

Pecans

Pecans have to be one of my most favorite nuts!! I love pecans, and I'm willing to pay the price to have really good ones.

I found these at my favorite veggie stand, which has so much more than just veggies to offer.

These are kind of pricey, but since they are already shelled, and mostly whole, they were worth the price!! :-)

Garlic Chips

During one of my recent trips to my favorite veggie stand, I found these interesting chips! They are garlic chips, and boy do the hold a garlic punch!!  I don't think I was ready!!! haha

I love garlic, but these may be a little too intense for me.  Having said that, I'm slowly working my way through the bag.  Don't get me wrong, they are good...just REALLY intense!!

Mandarins - Cuties

These little mandarins are so juicy and tasty!! I think they had kids in mind with these, but hey, I'm a big kid at heart so I guess they were meant for me too!!

Delicious and good for you, can't beat that combo!! :-)

Root Beer Float - A&W

Yes, my daughter got this along with that juicy burger in the last post!! Root beer floats take me back to childhood...okay, not really, I don't think my parents ever bought or made me a root beer float growing up...LOL!!

I do love a good root beer float, and A&W has one of the BEST around!!

Bacon BBQ Crunch Burger

This is a beautiful pic of the Bacon BBQ Crunch Burger that my daughter had.  I didn't get to taste it, but it looks absolutely delicious!!

Makes you kind of want a burger, doesn't it?? ;-)

Little Pops - See's Candies

My daughter brought these home.  I had never heard of Little Pops before, so I thought I'd give them a try.

They have a really nice "deep" rich chocolate flavor!! Very good candy!! See's does candy right!!

Crunchy Tacos

Tacos are right up there with burritos in my book!! These are some homemade tacos that I made using ground turkey, taco seasoning, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. Of course I put Frank's Hot Sauce on mine...I love that stuff!

I used the square bottom taco shells so that they would stand up for the pic!!

Delicious!!!

Zucchini, Squash Blend and Chicken

I love to make my zucchini, squash blend super thin.  I slice them and season them with butter, onion powder and season salt.  I cook them for just a few minutes so that they don't get soggy.  They still have a slight crunch to them.

The chicken is Orange chicken and General Tso chicken, both very tasty!!

Yummy dish!!

Breakfast Burrito - Baldo's

This delicious looking burrito is Baldo's chorizo, egg, cheese and potato breakfast burrito.

SO delicious!! I love burritos anyway, so I may be a bit biased, but it was really, REALLY good!!

Hope you enjoy the pic!! :-)

Lentil Soup - Made by Ty

I wish I could put it into words how GOOD this homemade lentil soup was!!! My daughter made this totally vegan, and it was awesome!!

She used veggie broth, added mushrooms and veggie sausage.

Great job Ty!!!

Oh, I almost forgot to mention, that little weird looking decoration was my idea! I somehow thought I would be good at making a design out of a fresh tomato...WRONG!!! haha  This was my attempt at making a flower!!

Fruit Infused Soda - Sonic

I'm one of those people that rarely drinks soda, so when I do, I want something interesting and different.

I found that in this Sonic drink!! It is really tasty and refreshing.  I love the fact that it has fresh fruit in it that you can eat.

This is Sonic's Hawaiian Wave.  If you live near a Sonic, you should give it a try!!

Corn Tortillas

Hi everyone!!! It's been a while since I've posted, and I apologize for that. 2015 is shaping up to be a busy year for me.  Thank you for your patience, I appreciate it!!

In this pic are a couple of corn tortillas that I warmed on the stove, and topped with some natural peanut butter, some sliced bananas and drizzled with honey.

The reason I made these is because I hadn't gone grocery shopping yet, so went on the internet and found a recipe that I could make with what I had in the house!!

You know what??? They were VERY tasty!!! I will definitely make these little beauties again!!  :-)
