I was thinking about a burger for lunch, but I didn't want to add extra carbs to my lunch, and no, I'm not going carb free just trying to eat smart after an interesting week! ;-))
I decided to make mushroom turkey burgers, and use lettuce for the buns. The only thing that would have made them better is a couple of nice slices of tomato. However, I realized I didn't have any left after I started the process. I've already tasted one, and guess what?? I didn't even miss that tomato!!
These burgers have a little BBQ sauce (Sweet Baby Ray's), spicy brown mustard (French's), mayo with cracked pepper olive oil (Kraft), cheese, sauteed mushrooms, pickle and seasonings.
